Panel 1: Rose
is at work. She and one of her coworkers, Malcolm, are sitting at a
table and looking at a laptop screen. Another coworker, Xiang, stands
behind them, holding a coffee cup. A third coworker, Aisha, enters the
room.
Aisha: Hey, does anyone have an actual print dictionary? One of my clients is about a million years old, and she keeps asking for one.
Rose: I actually may.
Panel 2: Later, Rose is back at her apartment, perusing the books in one of the bookcases.
Rose [thinks]:
Okay, Iz's weirdly huge library: do you have a dictionary? I'm sure I
saw one in here somewhere. Dictionary...dictionary...jackpot!
Panel 3: Rose pulls out the dictionary. Something goes click.
Panel 4: The bookcase swings out into the apartment, revealing a dark space beyond. Rose peers into the darkness.
Rose [thinks]: Under the good points, Denise is going to love this.
Rose [thinks]: Under the bad points, I don't think I have a dictionary.
Alt-Text: Unless the weirdly huge library contains a second dictionary that does NOT open a secret bookcase door. You never know.
