Panel 1: Rose
is in her hospital bed, but some time has passed. The bruises around
her eyes have faded. She is wearing her hair down, and her head bandage
is gone. She has what I'm going to assume is a Surface Pro on the bed
in front of her and is talking to Iz on Zoom.
Iz: Hey...you look better.
Rose: Thanks.
Panel 2: She lifts the Surface and angles it to show Iz the incision on her head.
Rose: Dr. Lim says...the swelling's gone down. I...can find words better now. Still can't really walk, though.
Panel 3: She puts the Surface back on the bed.
Iz: Are you going to finish this term, since all the courses are online now?
Rose: I...can't. I've taken incompletes in my...classes...and probably won't...yet...with the learning certificate.
Panel 4:
Iz: You mean you won't earn your degree?
Rose: Isn't that...what I said?

so, I drew ALL the comics in this extremely long sequence in, like,
early February or so. I got the plot down all the way to the end of
April! I was fine! Then...there was a pandemic. THIS conversation
originally had Iz in the room with Rose, discussing the end of the
school year as if everything was normal. Ah ha ha ha ha haaaaaa.
