A couple of days ago, a friend reminded me that I hadn't yet created a character sheet. "But the comic is only four years old!" quoth I.

Just kidding. I writhed in shame and started to put together a character sheet. I've got a fair amount of it done, but to give myself a chance to cover as many characters as possible, I'm going to release one character profile per day on the "Characters" page. The first one--of Rose--is up now. Iz's profile will be released tomorrow, and so on.

The profiles are short and relatively non-spoilery; they're meant to be safe for INR newbies. (Also, I remember what it was like constantly having to revise the more comprehensive West of Bathurst profiles. I'm pretty sure that memory accounts for about 85% of why I haven't done an INR character sheet yet.) The characters are drawn as they are now, in 2018, meaning that some of the characters who were children when the comic started four years ago will look a bit more grown up in their profiles. Denise, for instance, has aged from ten to fourteen, Alex from five to nine, and Clara and Rebecca from thirteen and a half to almost eighteen.

Panel 1: Rose and Iz sit on the grass together.

Rose: The problem is that time travel inherently doesn't make sense. It can't exist without paradox.

Panel 2:

Rose: I'm halfway to thinking that the very fact that I can travel in time has to call into question the reality of our universe.

Panel 3:

Iz: How would that work?

Rose: I'm not sure. Maybe we're in a computer simulation.

Panel 4: Future Rose is sitting on Iz's other side.

Future Rose: Personally, I blame elves.

Rose: I can't believe I'm going to be you later today.
