Panel 1: Rose examines the rock and the note that someone has just flung at her head. Denise stands by, her arms crossed.
Rose: It came over the fence. Go check the lane.
Denise: You go check the lane.
Panel 2: Reluctantly, Denise heads for the gate.
Rose: You can see way better than I can.
Denise: And everything's about you.
Panel 3: Denise pokes her head out into the lane.
Denise: There's nobody there. You made the note.
Rose: Why would I carefully type a note telling myself to go to Jennifer's room?
Panel 4:
Denise: To torture me.
Rose: There are far better ways to do that.
